Meet Our Leadership Team
Jessica Atkins - Co-Founder/Clinical Director
Jessica Atkins has been providing evidence-based services for children with autism and related disorders for over 8 years. She obtained a dual degree in Developmental Disabilities and Applied Behavior Analysis and Clinical Science. Jessica specializes in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBIs) for young children with ASD. She has specialized most of her career to understand, assess, and evaluate children that have ASD and other co-occurrence disorders. Both environments have exposed her to the challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders and increased her interest in detecting and intervening at an early age. Jessica's clinical and research interests include dual diagnosis, language development, play and social skills, and developing clinical models that will lead to positive outcomes in the field of Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions for young children.
Sophia Lee - Clinical Program Director
Sophia Lee is a Special Education Teacher that specialized in providing ABA services to young children diagnosed with ASD, and enjoys providing in home and center-based services for toddlers. Sophia has worked with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for the past seven years. Her area of interests are feeding issues and early diagnosis. Sophia completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, at Florida International University in 2013. She then completed her Master of Education Degree from the University of Florida in 2016.
Guillermo Pulgarin - Chief Financial Officer
Guillermo Pulgarin serves as Chief Financial Officer at First Behavioral Pediatric Care and is responsible for creating a platform to support growth expectancy and manage the financial strategy of the company. Guillermo is responsible for all finance functions of the company including, investing, external reporting, forecasting, budgeting and revenue cycle management. Guillermo has over 15 years of experience in CFO and financial growth experience encompassing private equity and international high-growth companies.
